I ramble about Eva 3.33 for an hour

I saw Evangelion 3.33 last night, and this morning I sent a few friends a rambling email about my thoughts, feelings and confusions about the movie. I decided I’d share it since I rarely talk about shows I enjoy.

What follows contains spoilers, so obviously read only if you’ve seen the movie. If you choose to respond, please keep things after a page break so that others don’t get spoiled. I refer to a couple people by name in this, so forgive the confusion.

So a few days ago someone wrote to ask if I was OK after the marathon bombing. I said “Yeah! I’m safe, I’m in one of the suburbs.” Well, that suburb was under attack last Friday. Needless to say I was scared for myself, but was especially scared for my friends who were stuck right in the heat of the search. 

Please, thank and appreciate your local police force. They are there for your protection.

Hey! When I posted for GIF requests last night, I honestly didn’t expect to get a response. I woke up to a lot of PMs with some great (and some very strange) suggestions. So thanks! It’s incredibly humbling to be acknowledged. Ya’ll are rad…to the max. I decided to go with The Legend of Zelda’s secondary big-bad, Vaati, suggested by an anonymous gent/lady. It’s a bit more involved than the last thing I did so it’s gonna take some time to get done. Thanks again for the suggestions! I think my personal favorite was my pal Sarah’s for Joust. That’s going to be a very goofy one.

GIF Commissions

Hey all! It’s been a busy Christmas but I’m back at my computer and looking forward to doing some more art, animated or otherwise. I’m considering opening up for animated GIF commissions. I haven’t yet figured out anything pricing-wise, it’s just an idea I’m throwing out there.
